Refund policy

Our refund policy describes the conditions under which you can obtain a refund for a payment made on a Trovy paid plan. We want Trovy to remain a safe choice: if the service does not fit you, we make it easy to step back.

1. General principle

You have 14 calendar days from the date of subscription to a paid plan to request a full refund, without having to justify your decision. This right applies to the first subscription to a paid plan, not to renewals.

Beyond this period, payments are non-refundable, except in the cases provided below or in case of Trovy’s failure to meet its obligations.

2. Eligibility

The 14-day right of withdrawal applies:

  • To individuals and professionals consuming the service as such.
  • To the first subscription to a paid plan (Pro, Team) — one refund per account.
  • To yearly subscriptions, prorated to the time elapsed, upon written request and verification.

The right of withdrawal does not apply:

  • To subscription renewals, except in case of breach on our part.
  • To one-off AI credit purchases, except in case of proven service failure attributable to Trovy.
  • To accounts suspended or terminated for breach of the ToS.

3. How to request a refund

To request a refund, email [email protected] with: your account email, the plan concerned, the date of subscription and the reason (optional but helpful).

Requests are processed within 5 business days. Once approved, the refund is issued to the payment method used at subscription. The delay to appear on your statement depends on your bank or payment operator (usually 5 to 10 business days).

4. Alternative: downgrade to the free plan

Rather than a refund, you can downgrade your account to the free plan. The downgrade takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access to all premium features until that date.

Your data is retained and remains readable. Features exceeding the free plan limits are locked but not deleted.

5. Service issues

In case of prolonged unavailability or proven service failure attributable to Trovy, you can request a prorated refund for the unused period, even beyond the 14-day withdrawal period.

Trovy commits to inform you of any major interruption and to offer proportionate compensation (credit, subscription extension, refund).

6. Consumer rights

This policy does not affect any rights you may have under legal warranties of conformity or hidden defects, in accordance with Ivorian law and, where applicable, the law of your country of residence if it offers more favorable protection.
